Jean-Marc Wiederrecht describes how timing and beat error adjustments are made using Agenhor's AgenPIT system, which does away with inertia screws in favour altering the active length of the hairspring in a more robust and less error-prone manner than the ubiquitous pin regulator.

While the number of knobs and various adjustments he is demonstrating seem like a lot, in actuality, this system represents a notable reduction in components and a viable increase in precision relative to more traditional regulating systems. Time will tell if it can prove its mettle.
