A novel, free-sprung oscillator featuring a fused-quartz balance wheel disc paired with carbon fiber hairspring, developed by Gideon Levingston and being used by Kari Voutilainen in his new chronograph. It's worth noting that Levingston has also made a number of the cases for Voutilainen's timepieces, including the ones that will encase the chronographs that employ the Carbontime oscillator.
